Technical Support Group (TSG) of REDCO Construction – Almana is the core structure of the company directly reporting to the Projects Director and to the Top Management handling the company’s technical issues, financial and commercial works for all project sites and focus on what’s most important-the end results.
It is a centralized office having more than 150 highly qualified Managers and competent professionals with experience in architecture, engineering, planning and technical experts. By operating a highly equipped and systematic procedure, this will assure that all requirements of each project are delivered on time. TSG comprises various departments with technical expertise’ ranging from:
Planning and Scheduling Department – In every successful project begins with a successful plan. TSG planning staff provides the Project Management its time table to proficiently organize the project site and our efficiency in overseeing project progress reports. With the use of the highly advanced Project Management Software, this enable to track and measure the progress of each project and ensure risk is mitigated and solve before it occurs.
Architectural and Structural Design Department – “Our highly experts” as we call this group. With the team extensive and vast knowledge in construction industry, they provide conceptual and detailed design; accurate measurements, flexibility and alternative techniques are proposed to meet customer’s requirements if applicable.
Quantity Surveying and Estimation Department
•Quantity Survey Section – This is the most unique section of all as this team plays a very challenging role in TSG. The group provides Specialist Construction Cost Management services as they tackle various kind of quantity surveying. It ranges from quantity take-off, variation order, main contractor billing, and subcontractor billing, cost projection and developing budgets to meet client’s satisfaction.
•Tendering Section - This section specializes and provides estimation services, evaluation and assesses future contract for prospect projects. The team proposes a competitive financial measurement of the project base on tender documents and as per policy.
•Material Department - This team is responsible for acquiring approval for the materials to be used for each project, assesses materials for specific qualities such as architectural, electrical, structural and civil to ensures that products comply with the standards and specifications.
QA/QC and Development Department
•Development Section – This is the most strategic section in TSG. This group of individuals is in charge of planning and developing the company procedures and manuals to accommodate business expansion and future growth enable operations to run smoothly and by providing base methods to achieve maximum efficiency and ensure utmost staff input in site execution and management for best quality of work.
•QA/QC Section – The group in charge of monitoring Quality Procedures and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) (ISO 9001:2008, OSHAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004) and ensure that the standards are well and properly implemented and responsible in upgrading the company system to achieve the LEED Certification as another milestone for REDCO Construction Almana.
Document and Record Department
•Document Section - This Group is considered "The Life Line" of TSG as they are responsible in circulating information and coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure for all projects. Using the advanced and sophisticated computerized systems, enable to ensure that all input document and data’s is accurate and up to date.
•Record Section (Archive) - This section where records preserved and history of each project are kept. This section includes lists of files, organized with the use of Windows Operating System or WinZip to back-up files.
