Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and REDCO Construction Almana signed Sponsoring Agreement in a joint press conference, Redco Construction Almana sponsorship of HH the Emir’s Trophy Race and HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalifa Al Thani Trophy for local bred Pure Arabians for two years.

Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and REDCO Construction Almana signed Sponsoring Agreement. Redco to sponsor HH Emir’s Trophy HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalifa Al Thani Trophy for local bred Pure Arabians which carries a purse of QR 500,000 will be held on January 19, while QR 500,000 HH the Emir’s Trophy is scheduled to be held on March 1 at the New AL RAYAN race track.
The best local bred Pure Arabians will be racing against each other vying for the top honors in these prestigious races.
The agreement was signed by Redco Construction Almana vice-chairman Faisal Abdullah Khalid Almana and QREC chairman Sheikh Mohammed bin Faleh al-Thani in the presence of Hamad Abdullah Saleh Almana and REDCO Managing Director Monjid Abdelmajeed at the QREC premises.
Chairman of QREC, HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Faleh al-Thani thanked Redco Construction Almana for its support. “We thank Redco Construction Almana for its interest in supporting horse racing, which is indeed a sport fostered by our forefathers. We hope events like these can elevate the status of horse racing not only in the region but in the international arena.”
