The Abraj Quartier, or “Neighborhood of Towers,” is a major component of a major and ambitious mixed-use development in Doha known as “The Pearl”. The design language is essentially a contemporary interpretation of traditional styles and themes, which in turn have been informed by the regional climate and culture. The site plan organizes a series of residential towers and low-rise townhouses along a roadway and boardwalk that front on the Gulf. The boardwalk not only provides a pleasant pedestrian amenity but also serves as access to the adjacent beach. Two beacon-like office towers flank the main access road and serve as the gateway to the overall Pearl development. The Abraj Quartier will include 2,200 residential units and a total of more than 350,000 m² of built area.
The project comprises an Eight (8) level Parking Podium of approximate total built-up area of 38,976m2; Forty three (43) levels High Rise Office Towers of approximate total built-up area of 75,763m2 of which office space is approximately 51,730m2 on ground to 38th floors to be constructed as core and shell. The Scope of Works includes the construction of substructure, superstructure and external works.
Abraj Quartier consists of 200 waterfront townhouses and seven residential towers – two of these towers straddle the access road to the mainland, forming the “gateway” to The Pearl.
